The aim of the workshop was to introduce a social learning method of engagement and provide an opportunity for dialogue around the challenges to public participation / stakeholder engagement in the Knysna Municipality. Participants from a diversity of interest groups and sectors who are currently participants in various local Ward Committees, local NGOs and municipal officials living and operating in the Knysna Municipality, in the Western Cape of South Africa attended the workshop.
